I have a 1998 Toyota Corolla. I had a new AC put in almost 2 years ago. The AC now cuts in and out. I checked the fuse (still good). What could be the problem. Remember, the AC is only a couple of years old. I would appreciate ANY help or any links that would be helpful. I have searched everywhere. I know if I take it to a mechanic, the will overcharge me big time.

Unfortunately this is a job for an air con specialist.It neads to be re-gassed.the compressor has an inbuilt safety device to cut it out when the gas is low.first though, check to make sure the engine idle speed is correct as too low an idle speed can have the same effect.

It is norman for the A/C pump to cut in and out. It is known as recycleing.. wwhen it is not being used, it will cycle some times, to keep the oil inside moving around.When it is being used, the pump cycles in and out, depending what the thermostat is telling it to do.

You may get many answers to this.. All may provide some intersting aspects. This is one that might take a while to understand.First : We need to separate (LOVE) into its many parts. Forwithout this, the question becomes twisted within itself.Lets remove those parts to see what the meaning of love is.SEX is love... Or at minimum one would need a certain amount of love for the partner to allow for it to take place. The humman language uses words for more than one meaning.One can make love, and it means SEX. But does it really... Well... If you tell someone you made love, then they believe you had intercourse ! What about a shot...? Could be a Doctor gave you one, or a Bartender, or even a criminal, or cop..So let us remove "Intercourse""Kissing" and all the Physical elements that are used to limit or define (LOVE).A long time ago, there was a move called, of all things, LOVE STORY ! In this movie you will find what love is. I mean never to have to say you're SORRY.But what have we learned today... Its a fgancy thing for a movie to dish out for sure... In English terms... LOVE is TRUST !REAL TRUST... TRUST to the DEATH... Since most people lack this fundemental aspect or a relation, the true portion of LOVE is not ever there... This despite great SEX and even all other aspects for which one can define properties of LOVE.The reason SORRY is not required is because the other party knows you did your best for the other. This is never in question... Even when harm comes by as a result. The other pewrson knows it was not done to them from anger, or to be mean.TRUE LOVE mind you... Well.... This is very rare indeed.Very few people ever discover it. We go about our lives and say we love this person and that person etc... TRUE LOVE - is 100% love. It is almost ipossible to offer it to more than one person, because of the trust required of it. When present , all aspects of a relation change ! Many times it is found in a mother or a father, and it can never be as strong with a stranger, but nature has its own plans for us.We mate with strangers ! Remeber that rule. Nature's goal is to survive... The plan is constructed without our feelings in mind. We will have SEX we will cheat, and steal, and lie, and bit and hit and kill. Humans are violent in nature. ( Bush -vs- Sadam )( Jew vs Muslim ) ( Fidel vs Infadel ) All this is the rest of the world... We strive for peace, but ther cannot be peace because we race toward SEX and survival of our kind. Work takes a lot from us each day... We cannot wait to get home to sleep. Take a break from life itself...TRUE LOVE is something we all seek, because its a break from all the other things we fight through in life.To get True Love we must be willing to drop everything for it.Even LIFE itself.... Whe two people LOVE at this level then there is TRUE LOVE.I would do anything to have my Father back, but time will not allow for this. I would die for him to return, but nature has other plans. I am to die and leave my boy to this struggle of power and life. Because that is the way we are built, and that is life.TRUE love will come, and its is most often found in a balanced family, which ironically must have been born from SEX and from love which might not have been TRUE love. It is my opinion, and I have been around the world. The world we all race in. Love has found you once before, and it was TRUE or you would not be here.
